Indian Institute of Forest Management is located - Bhopal.

The first National Forest policy was adopted in India - 1980.

The national park and wildlife sanctuaries are protected natural habitats. In these habitats the human activities such as haunting , mining , cutting of trees etc are strictly prohibited. But Research is allowed by the permit of governing body of the Park.
