1. Dandin authored Kavyadarshan.

3. Samudra gupta famous Dakshinapath expedition was against south Indian Rulers.
4. Chandra gupta asumed the title of Sakari.(Destroyer of Sakas).
5. Vasubandhu (Buddhist Scholar) was Partronized by Gupta King.
6. Manusmriti was one of the first Sanskrit text translated during the British rule in 1794 by sir william jones.
7. Sudrak was renowned poet of Gupta age , he wrote a book Mrichchakatik (little clay art). Arthur W Ryder Translated it.
8. The Panchatantra Stories was composed by Vishnu Sharma, during gupta period.
9. Vatsyayana authored Nyaya Sutra Bhashya and Kamasutra.
10. Magha authored Sisupala vadha.
